Logline A determined schoolteacher champions the dreams of her talented students, "The Harlem Angels," until tragedy strikes, leading her on a mission to share their music with the world despite a record executive's betrayal.
Synopsis A passionate music teacher, Miss Robinson, runs a special school program in Harlem where she mentors three troubled teenage girls—Angelala, Angelika, and Angelina—who form a singing group called "The Harlem Angels." After helping the girls overcome their difficult backgrounds through education and music, kismet attracts the attention of music producer Eddie Ex, who initially signs them but isn't committed to their positive message. When the girls die in a car accident while traveling to a performance, a heartbroken Miss Robinson creates an Instagram page featuring their recordings. A radio DJ discovers their music, brings Miss Robinson on his show, and connects her with a major record label executive who wants to meet about releasing the girls' posthumous, yet uplifting, music—all while the heavenly spirits of the three Angels continue to watch over their beloved teacher as they provide some otherwordly assistance.

I would like to introduce you to THe harLEm aNgeLs which was inspired as a means of helping my bi-racial relative overcome prejudice and negative peer pressure. IT WORKED!
The goal of THe harLEm aNgeLsis to put forth positive, intelligent and empowered multi-cultural role models in multiple formats. The first one might be in the style of an animated, Saturday Morning TV show and 24/7 streaming for pre-teens, 'tweens, and teens of all backgrounds, or possibly a prime-time, cross-over, live action, half-hour dramedy TV show with music.A sort-of Hip-Hop Highway To Heaven meets Empire and an updated, urban Charmed. They are a trio of funny, funky, urban, aspirational apparations with a musical and educational bent who manage to salvage lives that would otherwise be lost, abandoned, or discarded.
THe harLEm aNgeLsis also designed to be a series of graphic novels, Golden-style books, chart-topping musical recordings, educational and learning materials, a clothing line, and more. There are aspirations that a scholarship fund may grow from a designated portion of profits.
THe harLEm aNgeLswants to promote, in a fun way through all mediums, the notion that language is a way of "wiring the brain." The way you speak (and appear) affects your behavior, and will lead people to make assumptions about you, your intelligence and your integrity. This becomes self-fulfilling. Those who act according to the highest expectations of others (and of themselves), will, no doubt, excel.
